Jaz n' Jimmy: Testing Times

JAZ: I’m tellin’ mom you didn’t hand-in your test. You’ll get zero.

JIMMY: Zero is great.

JAZ: Zero means you didn’t learn anything!

JIMMY: Nope, not true. Zero means I learnt not to do tests.

JAZ: Wrong.

JIMMY: Yeah, wrong numbers. That’s what Mr. Pence said. Less tests means less people sick.

JAZ: Uh, no, Jimmy. Tests show if you’re doing OK or need help.

JIMMY: I’m doing great!

JAZ: Well, just supposin’… last week ten new people tested positive for coronavirus, but this week no tests are done. Has the virus gone away?

JIMMY: If no positive tests, it’s gone.

JAZ (gasps): But next week I tell them to restart tests, and fifty people test positive!?

JIMMY: Then you just brought back the virus, you nutter! Who needs testing!
